There are projects we really like as the Webdesign Reference Book project by Thomas Silkjær. Thomas collects well designed and standard compliant websites for being published in a book. Nothing new so far, you may think. But Thomas heads for a more community based project. Compared to similar projects like the Webdesign Index Book, the submitted websites are continuously published as snapshots.

Before the snapshot is taken your site will be validated by the W3C. If you like to submitt your site, go ahead.

The Webdesign Reference Book Project is very transparent and you easily can follow the process, looking at amazing website designs.

The book itself shall contain 248 pages featuring around 150 webdesigns. Additionally interviews and articles with and about designers will be published.
